First Aid Certification

For more than a century, the Red Cross has prepared people to respond to emergencies of all sizes - from the everyday to the large disaster. Join the millions we train every year and learn the skills that can save a life. American Red Cross first aid training classes give you the information and the skills you need to help adults and children during many emergency situations.

The first aid training and certification process takes just a few hours to complete, but can help you deliver the care that someone needs while waiting for medical professionals to arrive.

Get CPR/ AED certified!

Be prepared to help. As part of the Red Cross mission to train people on how to respond to and prepare for emergencies, we have invited them to the AAN Development Center to offer CPR certification classes that can help you and your team provide assistance when someone is faced with a cardiac or breathing emergency.

Designed, and taught by experts, Red Cross CPR certification courses are OSHA compliant. An on-site instructor will lead both the classroom training and simulation so that you can get CPR certified, learn life-saving skills, and train in the best way possible.

You may not realize it, but the response time for first responders after 911 is called averages 8-12 minutes, and during sudden cardiac arrest – each minute that defibrillation is delayed reduces someone's chances of survival by approximately 10%. This is why, the American Red Cross, supports the position that improved training and access to AEDs could save 50,000 lives each year.
