Session #1 The New Renter Reality - Trends Shaping the industry
Today’s renteres expect more - more technology, more service, and more personalized experiences. But what’s behind these rising demands, and how do national apartment trends impact Nebraska’s multifamily market?
Learning Objectives:
● Discover the key factors driving today’s renters
● Understand how national apartment trends and shifting consumer behaviors impact Nebraska’s multifamily market.
● Gain insights and actionable strategies to adapt to evolving leasing, retention, and operational challenges.
Session #2 What it Takes - Renters' Expectations’: How to Get the Lease
Today’s renter is picky, savvy, and spoiled for choice. With endless options, digital tools, and sleek competitor communities at their fingertips, good isn’t good enough anymore. Renters expect to be WOW’ed — not just by your property, but by you. In this fast-moving session, we’ll unpack what it really takes to earn the lease in 2026.
Learning Objectives:
● Understand Today’s Renter Mindset: Explore what’s driving modern renters’ expectations — from convenience and connection to authenticity and experience.
● Differentiate Beyond the Property: Learn how to stand out as the person renters remember and trust, not just the building they toured.
● Turn “Wow” Moments into Leases: Discover practical, repeatable ways to exceed expectations, build emotional connection, and close with confidence.
Lunch Break before the afternoon sessions
Session #3 Big Reputation, Avoiding the Tough Conversations
If you’ve got a big reputation, you’d better be Ready For It. Today’s residents are vocal, connected, and unfiltered—and the FTC is watching. The rules are changing faster than a Style remix, and 5 stars is no longer the goal—it’s the story behind the stars that matters.
Learning Objectives:
● Understand the New Reputation Rules: Learn what the FTC expects, why transparency matters, and how to stay compliant while still marketing boldly.
● Leverage All Reviews to Tell Your Story: Discover how to turn every rating—high or low—into an opportunity to show authenticity, build trust, and strengthen your brand voice.
● Build Community Through Conversation: Explore how honest engagement, emotional intelligence, and meaningful resident interactions create loyalty and renewals.
