Intensive Program Synopsis

Earn your AAN  Maintenance Toolbox Certification AND have the opportunity to test for your CPO Certification. This Intensive Series will help you be prepared for any pool emergency and, signals to an employer your commitment to effecient residential property maintenance. Nebraska CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR CPO (8 Seats available)  March 31st Starting at 8am *APPLICATIONS AND FEES MUST BE RECEIVED BY February 1*  (As soon as the email arrives with the information please print and review prior to attending the class.  This will help in passing the exam)

This 1.5 day course goes over the required information from the State of Nebraska to become a CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR.  Our instructor Chuck Ketchum will discuss the rules, regulations from the State.  It is required that each student bring a laptop, I pad or Android pad as this test is done online. This is great for beginners and folks who need a refresher.
AGAIN, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A PERSONAL LAPTOP, I PAD, OR ANDROID ON THE DAY OF CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CPO Study Guide Power Point Review 

When you have completed this section, you will:

  • Be familiar with Basic pool terminology
  • Understand the fundamentals of the filtration cycle
  • Know the major components of commercial pool system and be able to explain the function
  • Be knowledgeable about PH and Chlorine levels
  • Be able to read and understand FAS-DPD test kit
  • Be able to troubleshoot basic pool level issues and know which chemicals to use to maintain safe levels
  • Understanding record keeping and creating your own individual pool log for your property
